The Signfix Fluted Pole is extruded from strong structural grade 6061 T5 or T6 aluminium and supplied with white PVC caps. They are finished with a maintenance free white polyester powder coating making them ideal for coastal locations and are deemed to comply with the impact requirements, for Small Signs, of Clause 9.1 of NZTA P/24:2008 Performance Based Specification for Traffic Signs as listed in the RSMA Compliance Standard for Traffic Signs:2008. When used with our Anti-Rotational Clips, Ground Sockets and Channel Systems, they are designed to eliminate sign rotation.

The Fluted Poles, PVC Pole Caps and purpose made aluminium Ground Sockets complete the Signfix Frangible Aluminium Pole System and when correctly installed, meet the requirements of NZTA P/24 and the RSMA Standard for Traffic Signs. Furthermore, the total Signfix Sign Support System which includes the Channel System, Brackets, Clips, Poles and Ground Sockets, exceeds the structural and design life requirements of AS/NZS1170.
