The Signfix Street Name Sign System has been developed since its conception in 1972 to provide a complete package of fittings for the installation of off-set signs. The system can be used for small bus stop size signs to large street name and directional signs. Correct bracket selection and installation method is crucial to successful Street Name Sign installation. Failure to use the correct brackets may result in drooping signs and or broken banding.

60 or 76mm OD Aluminium Fluted or Steel Poles:
Use the Signfix SFXSNBKT-02 bracket with an AUO style Uni-Clamp.

100mm x 100mm Timber Post:
Use the Signfix TD1010 Slide on Bracket which is secured via a bolt through the post. This bracket provides a large solid and flat footprint against the post.

Utility Poles and Columns (ie Power, Telephone & Lighting):
Street Name Sign Installations onto utility poles using stainless steel banding should be offset from the pole to ensure the banding functions as designed. Signfix TD1010 (recommended) or SFXSNBKT-01 brackets are used and they should be offset from the Pole/Column by a length of timber (75x75 etc) which is in turn banded to the Pole/Column.

Slide-On Offset Bracket
Our Offset Bracket was completely redesigned in 2010. The new bracket provides enhanced appearance, strength and security. Registered NZ Design No\'s 412468, 412469, 412491. This bracket is designed and warranted for use with Signfix Streetname extrusion only and supersedes the OSBSGNFX-01 and OSBSGNFX-02 Mini Offset Brackets. 

The Signfix SFXSNBKT02 Slide-on Offset Bracket is designed and warranted for sign blades not exceeding 0.24 m2. 
For example, a. 200mm deep x 1200mm long sign
b. 225mm deep x 1075mm long sign or
c. 250mm deep x 960mm long sign.

Street Name Signs over this limitation should be single sided mid mounted. The Signfix SFXSNBKT02 Slide-On Offset Bracket should be torqued to 12Nm using a socket style wrench. Short handled and plastic handled folding pocket knife style Allen Keys are not adequate.

Slide-On Mid Mount Bracket
The Signfix Mid Mount Brackets slide onto the top and bottom "Tee" section of Signfix Street Name Extrusion to facilitate attachment to suit the location.

Timber Post Slide On Offset Bracket
This bracket provides a large footprint on timber posts eliminating the incidence of street name sign failure common in high wind situations. The bracket is secured with either a coach bolt or a bolt through the post. Installation Tip: Fit TD1010 brackets to a short piece of Signfix streetname extrusion. Secure brackets to timber post and replace extrusion with streetname sign.
Signs should not exceed 0.20m² therefore (Note the product is not suitable for extreme / high wind applications). 
• 200mm deep x 1000mm long sign
• 225mm deep x 880mm long sign
• 250mm deep x 800mm long sign
Street Name Signs over this limitation should be single sided mid mounted.

Mini Tee Offset Bracket
The SignfixMini Tee Offset Bracket is extruded from structural aluminium which provides a very strong fitting for signs and is highly resistant to vandalism. Suitable for Round or Rectangular Posts. Available with six pre-drilled holes for hand riveting or blank for use on a Henrob riveter.

Universal Offset Bracket
The Universal Offset Bracket is used for the construction of larger Cantilever Signs using Signfix Double Tee Channel. For signs over 1200mm long or 0.56m2, 4 brackets (2 each top and bottom) are required.

AUO / Uniclamp Brackets
The Signfix Bracket range includes Aluminium Uni-Clamps specifically designed to be coupled with the SignfixOffset Brackets for 60mm and 76mm Aluminium Fluted Poles and Steel Poles to eliminate sign rotation. The Uni-Clamp Bracket is available in a single sign configuration and Back to Back for double offset signs. Stainless steel banding is not recommended. Ensure cap screws are torqued to 12Nm.
